Winter School Jan. 11-13, 2013

Save the date! This year’s Winter School will be Friday, Jan. 11 (4 pm) to Sunday, Jan. 13 (1 pm). It’s a tad earlier than past years which means earlier registration dates. Registration will open in the next few days. Early bird deadline with a 10% discount will be December 2nd and regular registration deadline will be December 23rd.

We’ll be at the YMCA in Estes Park once again (different building than last year and entire building to ourselves). We look forward to seeing you all in January!

Update on Summer School Cancellation

Dear Friends: It was with great difficulty and much sadness that the committee decided on June 27th to cancel this year’s Summer School because of the immediate and nearby crisis of the Waldo Canyon Fire. Although it was a difficult decision, we feel confidant that it was the right decision due to the uncertainty of the situation, the potential health & safety risks, and the impact of the fire on numerous area Baha’i families. The committee has recently met again and decided there will not be a rescheduling of the School this summer due to a lack of time and resources to get it planned and the unavailability of the facility.

The Schools Committee Treasurer will be refunding all monies paid towards the Summer School within the next week. . If you do not see your refund come through or have any questions about this process, please contact the Treasurer at treasurer(at)coloradobahaischool.org.

We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Winter School at the YMCA of the Rockies near Estes Park. Please mark the dates on your calendar ~ January 11-13, 2013. We hope to see you all there!
